1. Install the plugin
Download the plugin (goudzilverkoers-1.0.0.zip). In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, click Install Now and then Activate. WooCommerce must be active and the store currency must be the euro.
2. Start the trial
Go to WooCommerce → GoudZilverKoers, enter your store name and email address and click Start free trial. Prices are fetched right away. The trial lasts three days; one trial per website. Have a licence key? Enter it on the License tab.
3. Price a product at the market
Open a product, go to the Precious metal tab, switch on Price follows metal rate and choose the metal, the weight and unit (gram, troy ounce or kilo), the fineness (e.g. 0.585 for 14 ct, 0.925 for sterling silver) and whether to use the ask or bid price. The current price is shown at the bottom.
4. Margin and rounding
Enter a percentage, a fixed amount or both. The percentage applies to the metal value; the fixed amount is added. A minimum price keeps light items from becoming too cheap. Choose rounding: cent, 5 cents, 50 cents, whole euros, €5 or €10.
5. Variations
For variable products, give each variation its own weight, fineness or margin. Empty fields inherit the parent product's value.

7. Settings
- Default rounding for products without their own rounding.
- Maximum price age: after how many hours without a new price metal products switch to "price on request" (default 24).
- Price locked for: how long the cart price is fixed (default 15 minutes; 0 means always live).
- Texts: the price label, the no-price text and the price-change notice at checkout.
8. Switching from another price plugin
If GoudZilverKoers recognises the best-known precious metals plugin for WooCommerce on your site, a Switch from … tab appears. You see the old and new price per product. Import settings copies metal, weight, fineness, markups and minimum price (also per variation). Existing price shortcodes keep working, and the import can always be undone.
9. Subscribe
On the License tab choose monthly (€19) or yearly (€190) and enter your company details. You receive an email to confirm the direct debit with an iDEAL payment of €0.01. From three websites you get 20% off all licences.
10. Updates
New versions appear in WordPress under Plugins and Dashboard → Updates. Every download is verified with a signed checksum.
